Want something to read during the summer? Take a look at BHS' Encouraged Summer Reading 2022

The Summer Learning Challenge launched today, so come by either the Main Library or Easton branch to pick up a free book and reading log to get started! 
We are also having weekly gift card giveaways if you write a meaningful book review and drop it by the Main Library or Easton branch to enter to win! Gift card options include: Boba Guys, Caffe Central, Happy Lemon, Pizza My Heart, Preston's Candy, Salt & Straw, Starbucks, and Teaspoon. 
When you finish the reading log, bring it to either library and receive a $10 Barnes & Noble gift card + a gift card to In-n-Out Burger for a free hamburger or cheeseburger.
Finishers can also enter their names into the giveaway for a $1,000 college scholarship.

The Burlingame Library has partnered with the Millbrae chapter of Toastmasters International 
to bring a 9-week Youth Leadership Program for youth ages 12-18. 
We will be meeting in the Lane Community Room of the Main Library on Saturdays June 18-August 20 (except July 2) from 2-3:30pm.  
In this program youth will:
Develop Leadership + Communication Skills Through Practical Experience
Improve Public Speaking Ability

First Looks Book Club is a chance to read and review ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) of books
that haven't been released to the general public yet
and influence whether or not they will be purchased by the library
and local bookstores!
